The trail starts at the County Park Beach Access at 104th Avenue and ends at the Marriott Hotel near 120th Avenue, to the north.
It is a double-wide smooth concrete path, running behind the sand dunes, that allows easy movement between several hotels and beach bars that are fronted by Gulf Blvd.

Historic 1927 YMCA Building In St. Petersburg,Florida Threatened With Demolition (VIDEO)
The 1927 historic YMCA building is threatened with demolition to allow for...a new drive-in bank! Mark your calender to attend at 9 am the Nov. 16 public hearing at City Hall before the Community Preservation Commission. Your voice can make a difference in helping to protect this historic gem.
The Mediterranean Revival styled building exemplifies the charm of downtown.
The historic Y is located at the corner of 5th Street and 2nd Ave. South, behind the Tampa Bay Times building and around the corner from the historic Tramor Cafeteria (another potentially threatened historic building for sale).
The YMCA building has the distinction of being one of the largest community funded projects in St. Pete's history and it is appearing that the community is going to have to step forward again if the building is to survive its present threat.
